Context

서울혁신센터는 아이디어 단계의 혁신가들을 체계적으로 인큐베이팅하여 구체적인 사업 모델로 발전시키는 역할을 해왔다. 이제 한 단계 더 나아가 성장한 혁신가들을 전국 각 지역으로 배출하여 그들의 영향력을 확산시키고, 지역사회에 성공적으로 안착할 수 있도록 지속적인 후속 지원을 제공하고 있었다. 이러한 혁신 생태계의 확장 과정을 통해 서울혁신센터의 새로운 역할과 가치를 보여주고자 했다.

Challenge

전라도 곡성, 경기도 고양, 충청남도 서산 등 서로 다른 지역으로 진출한 다양한 성격의 기업과 혁신가들을 하나의 일관된 메시지로 연결하는 것이 쉽지 않았다. 각자 다른 분야와 배경을 가진 혁신가들의 이야기를 어떻게 시리즈로 묶어낼 것인가가 주요 과제였다. 또한 기존의 딱딱한 인터뷰나 다큐멘터리 형식을 벗어나 가치 있는 내용을 가볍게 전달할 수 있는 새로운 접근법이 필요했다.

Solution

일정한 전달 포맷을 개발하여 콘텐츠 시리즈로서의 통일성을 확보했다. 각 혁신가의 개별적 스토리보다는 '서울에서 지역으로의 확산'이라는 공통 테마에 집중하여 구성했으며, 무겁지 않으면서도 깊이 있는 내용을 전달할 수 있는 톤앤매너를 구축했다. 지역별 특색과 혁신가들의 개성을 살리면서도 서울혁신센터의 후속 지원 시스템을 자연스럽게 부각시키는 스토리텔링을 완성했다.

“선넘은 혁신가는 혁신이 어떻게 확산되고 뿌리내리는지를 보여주는 흥미로운 프로젝트였습니다. 서울에서 시작된 아이디어들이 전국 각지에서 지역사회와 만나 새로운 변화를 만들어가는 과정을 목격하면서, 진정한 혁신의 가치는 확산에 있다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 각기 다른 지역과 분야의 이야기들을 하나로 엮어내는 과정에서 우리 역시 새로운 스토리텔링 방법론을 개발할 수 있었습니다.”

Context

Seoul Innovation Center had been systematically incubating innovators from the idea stage to develop them into concrete business models. Now taking a step further, they were expanding the influence of grown innovators by deploying them to regions nationwide and providing continuous follow-up support for successful settlement in local communities. The goal was to showcase the new role and value of Seoul Innovation Center through this innovation ecosystem expansion process.

Challenge

It wasn't easy to connect companies and innovators of different natures who expanded to different regions - Gokseong in Jeolla Province, Goyang in Gyeonggi Province, and Seosan in Chungnam Province - with one consistent message. The main challenge was how to bundle the stories of innovators with different fields and backgrounds into a series. Additionally, a new approach was needed to deliver valuable content lightly, moving away from traditional stiff interview or documentary formats.

Solution

We developed a consistent delivery format to secure unity as a content series. Rather than focusing on individual stories of each innovator, we concentrated on the common theme of 'expansion from Seoul to regions' and established a tone and manner that could deliver deep content without being heavy. We completed storytelling that naturally highlighted Seoul Innovation Center's follow-up support system while preserving regional characteristics and innovators' individuality.

Witnessing ideas that started in Seoul meet local communities across the nation to create new changes, we realized that the true value of innovation lies in expansion.
